Information Packaging Corporation is a Green Manufacturer dedicated to environmental responsibility in all aspects of our manufacturing processes. This includes printing, material handling and energy usage.

  • We are the only manufacturer of a 100% recycled post-consumer fiber paper window envelope for CDs and DVDs.
  • All of our paper-based envelopes and sleeves can be manufactured from recycled paper stock.

  • We recycle:
    • Dupont Tyvek Recycle LogoAll paper waste from printing, die cutting and folding
    • All corrugated box waste
    • Internal office paper waste
    • All Tyvek® waste from printing, die cutting and folding
  • Left over inks and adhesives are disposed of by a certified waste disposal firm and are less than one 55 gallon drum per year.
  • No hazardous chemicals are used in our products or manufacturing processes.
  • All of our inks are soy based.
  • All of our adhesives are FDA approved for indirect food content.
  • Our on-site energy conservation measures include:
    • Voluntary participation in the NYS Energy Curtailment System. In the event of an actual or anticipated problem with the power grid, high electric usage companies agree to reduce consumption to reduce load on the grid.
    • During winter months, heat generated from our mechanical room is exhausted into the building for heating.
    • All office lights are on motion sensors to reduce electrical consumption when rooms are not in use.
    • Development of an alternative production schedule to reduce energy consumption.
